Our Story
Before balloons, Jenna imagined a life in fashion.
Jenna studied fashion design at Lasell College in Newton and thought her next chapter would take her to New York. Life had other plans. Instead, she found her way into the events industry by starting a business that rented photo booths and entertainment equipment for celebrations.
The path looked different from the one she had pictured, but it kept her close to the things she loved: creativity, design, and the energy of bringing people together.

Then one question changed everything.
While working an event, Jenna and her family met a man who worked with balloons. Out of curiosity, Jenna’s dad asked how he had gotten started. His answer was Ballooniversity, a balloon-industry conference in Georgia held only once every five years. By chance, the next one was happening the following month.
So Jenna and her mom went. During one class, an instructor stood in front of roughly 150 people and asked who did not know how to tie a balloon. Jenna raised her hand. He invited both Jenna and her mom onto the stage and taught them right there in front of the entire room.
THAT FIRST BALLOON, TIED ONSTAGE IN GEORGIA, BECAME THE BEGINNING OF BOSTON BALLOON STUDIO.

The Next Chapter
The creative outlet grew into something much bigger.
What began as an unexpected introduction became Jenna’s creative home and a business built around making celebrations feel extraordinary. Today, Jenna is also raising her own kids. That perspective shapes the way she serves every client: she understands how much a meaningful event can hold, how many details families and teams are juggling, and how valuable it is to have someone handle the room with care.
Her fashion background still shows up in the work: in color, proportion, movement, and the instinct to make every installation feel considered rather than simply filled.
Then Liz joined the mission.
As Boston Balloon Studio grew, Jenna brought on Liz, a fellow mom who came from the corporate side of event planning, to run the operations side of the business alongside her.
Jenna brings the creative vision and hands-on artistry. Liz brings the planning, coordination, and behind-the-scenes structure that keep each event moving. Together, they connect the idea with the execution so the finished celebration feels personal, polished, and thoughtfully handled from beginning to end.
